By the mid 1990's Holmes was one of the 20 highest paid fashion models. Living part time in California, and dedicating most of her time with her family, (Susan has two young daughters), reminded Susan of her original idea of becoming a designer. Her focus is on creating swimwear that "exudes charm with rock n' roll inspiration" with a quality and attention to detail. She credits her husband, legendary rocker Duff McKagan, formerly of Guns N' Roses, and now with successful Grammy Award winning band, Velvet Revolver as an integral part of her creative designs. One of the highlights, she enjoys, in having a fun and successful business, in which she gets to contribute back over 10%, after net proceeds- to wonderful charities, such as " Project Angel Food", "Surfrider Foundation" and the Red Cross for natural disaster victims.
