We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager with a dynamic personality who is obsessed with all things fashion for our location in Ala Moana!

All candidates should be passionate about the Planet Blue brand and driven on delivering exceptional in-store experiences. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager and is expected to develop Sales Associates to develop and maintain client relationships, build a client book, and convert all footsteps into sales. Planet Blue seeks to provide all employees with constructive feedback to foster their career growth.

The Assistant Store Manager is hourly plus commission. Our company offers health benefits and accrued paid time off.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring customer service and maintaining excellent customer relationships
  • Assisting the store manager in opening and closing the store.
  • Supporting the store manager and assisting with tasks as needed.
  • Coaching and developing sales associates and key holders
  • Keeping a positive attitude and high energy.
  • Encouraging teamwork
  • Driving in-store sales by leading by example.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • At least 3 years of retail sales experience, and 2 years of key holding/management experience.
  • Creative with an understanding of current fashion trends and stylist experience.
  • Established local client book required.
  • Extremely responsible and reliable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Professional and confident attitude.
  • Positive vibes.
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge and experience in Retail Pro is a plus.
